Facial Surgery
Face Lift
Even though younger patients are now being treated successfully by paralyzing and wrinkle filling injections, surgical treatment for loose, sagging skin is still often required. The procedure involves gentle tightening of the deeper layers of the face and neck and a re-draping of the facial and neck skin to give a natural, younger looking appearance.

Otoplasty (Ear correction)
One of the commonest congenital conditions is prominence of one or other ear. This condition leads to embarrassment and teasing from a very young age and it can be simply corrected by a procedure to redefine the cartilaginous structure of the ear whilst restoring its contour to a natural overall appearance and natural prominence.

Blepharoplasty ( Upper and Lower Eyelid Reduction)
Loose skin and prominent fat in either or both the upper or lower eyelids, usually the result of the aging process, can be treated by surgical reduction of the skin and removal of the excess fat. Our plastic surgeon prefers to perform both upper and lower eyelid surgery under general anaesthesia as a day case but often performs upper eyelid surgery as an out-patient under local anaesthesia.
